What Financial Trust Exchange LTD collects about you, why, how long we keep it, and what we will not do with it.

Not yet reviewed by a lawyer

This document was drafted to be clear and honest about how the platform actually works, but it has not been settled by a qualified lawyer in the jurisdiction this operates in. It must be reviewed before the platform takes money from the public.

What we collect

  • Identity. Your legal name, date of birth, country of residence, address, and the identity document you upload.
  • Contact. Your email address, and a phone number if you give us one.
  • Financial. Your deposits, withdrawals, positions and the ledger entries they produce.
  • Technical. Session cookies needed to keep you signed in, and server logs that record requests for security and debugging.
  • What you send us. Messages you submit through the contact form.

Why we hold it

  • To operate your account. We cannot run an account without knowing whose it is or what is in it.
  • Because we are required to. Verifying client identity and keeping transaction records is a legal obligation, not a preference.
  • To keep the platform secure. Detecting and investigating fraud and unauthorised access.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do not use your identity document for anything other than verification and our record-keeping obligations.
  • We do not email you marketing unless you opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

Who processes it for us

We use third parties to run the service: a database and authentication provider, a hosting provider, and a payment provider. They process data on our instructions only. Market price data is fetched from a public market data source; that request contains no information about you.

Where your ID document lives

In private storage. It is not on a public URL, and access is restricted to you and the members of staff who review verifications. It is never attached to a marketing profile.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account, and after closure for the period our record-keeping obligations require. Ledger entries are permanent by design: they are the record of what happened to your money, and deleting them would destroy the audit trail that protects you as much as us. Where we must retain records after closure, we restrict them to that purpose.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to object to certain processing, and to ask for deletion where we are not legally required to keep it. Ask us at [](mailto:) and we will respond.

Cookies

We set the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the session secure, plus one that remembers your language choice. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
