About
What this platform is
Two things run here: investment products that pay a variable rate on what you place, and mining contracts that pay a share of what the hardware earns. Both sit on the same ledger, and every figure on it can be traced back to the entry that produced it.
Investment products
You place an amount, and a published rate is applied to it over the term. The rate is variable: it is what we are paying now, not a promise about later. The terms attached to your position are recorded on the day you open it and do not move afterwards, even if the product changes.
Each accrual stores the balance it was calculated on, the rate, the day count and any fee, so you can check the arithmetic on any figure credited to you.
Mining contracts
You buy units of hashrate rather than placing a sum at a rate. Each period we record what the pool actually paid and what it cost to run the hardware, and what is left is split across everyone holding units, in proportion to how many each of them holds.
There is no rate behind it and no minimum payment. Revenue moves with the network and with what the hardware earns, and some periods pay less than others.
